Abigail Ferrell joined the Orr Brown Johnson in September, 2011, after earning a Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law and a Masters of Public Administration from Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. While attending Georgia State College of Law, Abigail worked for two semesters in the Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Clinic as a student attorney. Abigail also interned at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Public Health Law Program. She is currently the principle researcher and writer of the CDC’s Public Health Law News.

Abigail is a registered mediator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution and was awarded the 2010-11 Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction’s Mediation Award for Georgia State University College of Law. In 2009, Abigail spent two months studying international arbitration and mediation in Austria, Germany, Croatia, Hungary and Italy.

Before attending Georgia State University, Abigail graduated with honors from North Hall High School and earned a degree in Public Relations Journalism from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism.
